The story

In the military, a challenge coin is not a souvenir. It is proof you were there when it counted, carried by someone who has the standing to give it and earned by someone who did the work. It is small, it is personal, and its entire value comes from the fact that it cannot be bought after the fact. That is exactly what a Charter Member holds. Only five thousand of these will ever exist, each one numbered to its holder, struck for the people who backed a veteran-owned marketplace before it opened, before there was anything to see, on nothing but the conviction that these businesses deserve to be found. The coin carries the words Viam Praeire: to go before and show the way. Charter Members are not customers who arrived early. They are the ones who went first so that everyone else could follow.
